First time I’ve been legitimately interested in a new release SF game tbh. I’ll still be waiting for a sale or ultimate version down the line I think, but everything about it looks solid. The semi open world component actually looks really fun too and it’s honestly one of my main draws lmao.
I’m so ready for this game. I’m trash at Street Fighter (I’m marginally better at Mortal Kombat though. Marginally.) but I always have a great time whenever I play it. I’m a Ryu and Chun Li scrub though, so I’m gonna use this game as an excuse to try some different characters. Probably gonna get this at release.
I’m gonna pick back up Cammy again when I do get the current Gen systems. it’s good to see this wasn’t a stumble like sfv. it may not have a MK story mode but the game itself looks fun to play. we should organism some group games. one with mains and one with just bullshit. the winner gets a kiss from me, the loser also gets a kiss from me. it’s all lose win!
Kind of amazing where Capcom is now than when SfV was being released. I remember the infamous Cammy crotch shot causing an uproar now they’re leaaanning into it.
I’m dangerously considering buying a ps5 right now for it. I know it fun’s on ps4 but all that screen tearing when you reduce input lag is realllyyy unsettling.
I do think this game does have the capacity of being a new classic
I mean everyone has a threshold of how much they’d like. If you’re still on ps4 go dl the demo and turn that input lag thing on/off. It’s immediately noticeable, if I’m playing online I don’t want to see noticeable screen tearing.
A lot of people are already calling it the best fighting game Capcom has ever put out. It IS a new classic.
I’ve played a fair few hours but bizarrely I’ve almost exclusively been playing the World Tour mode where you run around with your avatar. I haven’t even tried out any of the characters LOL, I’m just enjoying running around Metro City
