Alright, I gotta be real, this game is actually dope as fuck. They have a co-op mode called Outbreak where you’re dropped in a small open world with vehicles, loot, structures and such, and there’s a series of random side missions and objectives to complete before they allow you to jump to another map with progressively harder and more enemies. You can upgrade your weapons and armor, get random weapons from the box just like regular zombies, and best of all, it’s RANKED, that’s right, you LEVEL UP PLAYING THIS COOP VS ZOMBIES and you level up extremely quick.
If I fly solo in multiplayer and have a good night, I might gain 3-4 levels. In Outbreak, I’m getting 7-10 levels per session, unlocking tons of weapons and parts and it’s generally a massive blast. Last night they added a little buggy with a .50 Caliber Browning heavy machine gun and I gotta tell you people, I haven’t had that much fun in a game in years. I was laughing my ass off whirling around in that buggy listening to Billy Idol while @Jmtc1223 and @NightFox we’re ripping up a horde of zombies and a big bastard with said .50 cal, check it out;

What this man says is true, sit back with your crew and just have tons of fun. Seriously if any of you guys want to do some zombies with us you should give us a shout. I mean @Hessikin @Jmtc1223 arent really “COD” guys but zombies is a whole other experience, im sure if you play with randos or folks without mics you get another type of experience but darn is it fun when everyone is bullshittng

This looks like fun. I’ve honestly never played many zombie games bar L4D2 but I loved that so I have no idea why I haven’t delved into the genre more. I guess a lot of it is to do with having people to play with but I might see if I get a chance to give this a try sometime.

I think we got it on sale, like $30. I’d say it’s worth about that much so maybe keep an eye on PSN sales.
This game is kinda 1 part Warzone and 1 part L4D2, it’s very fun just looting and shooting and it’s even got ambush moments (looting a house and zombies come out from under the bed, burst through closets, etc). Even though you’re pretty powerful if you don’t invest your points efficiently by the time you get to even level 2 you’re playing on hard mode.
It’s very easy to get surrounded and cut off from your team.

If you skip any level beside 1, level 4 and 5 are practically hell mode. we’r always 1 man short though so who knows if 4p changes the difficulty.

Probably the best Zombies experience since Black Ops 3. The gameplay has just taken a step up and it ticks every single box for a wave survival FPS. The maps thus far are great too, but I’m yet to see a map like Zetsuobo no Shima in 3 with it’s mix up in areas, choke points and design/style.

IDK if you’ve played the new maps but they are top tier. One is that huge radar installation in (what I assume to be) Pripyat. Outbreak is easily the best thing that’s ever been in a COD.

Word, we’ve been having so much fun. I do wish that Outbreak was maybe more players. Would probably be unbalanced though. I can only imagine how fun it would be if you have say two teams of three that could either work together or do their own thing.
Nobody else out there got this? For shame on all of you.

I think this might be the next new game I will buy. I think I would have fun with it, but I never did play Black Ops 2, 3, or 4 more than a couple minutes. I just want to be able to fight bots or do special ops missions, if they are in this one too.

Bots for sure. That’s actually where this game shines tbh, the co-op.
If I were you, I’d wait for a sale.
Yeah to be fair we’re in may already, this is coming down to the end of Coldwars lifecycle so i wouldn’t pay full price for it. Although zombbies have been getting great updates so far.

New map soon, right? When’s that dropping? Been playing loads of Outbreak recently and there’s honestly little more satisfying than taking on Orda solo. Feels like a genuine classic FPS boss. I really hope we get something similar soon, Treyarch have always been brilliant at boss rounds/modes IMO.

And word,fighting Orda is actually a TON of fun. What’s your solo strategy for going after him?
I like getting chopper gunner, if you’re really accurate with minigun you can nearly half Orda’s health. Aside from that I load up with a large bore precision rifle and an LMG (usually the Stoner). Also, flash grenades and molotovs for crowd control if the horde gets too close, power up is always healing aura.

I’d like to play this still but I’m too broke. lol, maybe one day I’ll get this game. You guys remember playing Aliens: Colonial Marines together? I wonder if there’s something else I could play with you guys that would be a little cheaper or easier to get

Good news, there is a New Aliens, colonial marine game being amde right now and so far it looks mucchhh better than that last POS .
As for zombies, i hope to play more soon but everyone been busy 
, havent even tried the new map yet. the other night Me Hessikin and Jmtc did the old nazi zombie map, that was alot of fun.
