There actually is an extensive off-topic forum, however it’s only available after members participate in the community a bit. There are a plethora of features that can only be unlocked through participation.
Make sure you post a thread to introduce yourself in member announcements, and complete the forum tutorial Otacon sent to your inbox. You can also check out the FAQ in the hamburger menu for some more insight into how the forum works, any other questions, don’t be afraid to ask!
Discourse actually has some really in depth role playing mechanics and plugins. There are many communities that use this forum client for text based RPG’s.
Unfortunately, there’s not really much in the way of the type of forum games from the old zeta and IP board games.
